150 g Spectacular Herkimer Diamond Cluster, Water Clear Gems, Druzy Matrix Attached, World Class

This breathtaking cluster is from the herkimer diamond mines koa resort in middleville, new york it has an elegant composition, the chain type arrangement of the crystals is absolutely gorgeous. Most of the crystals have spectacular a/aa grade clarity, and some have light smoky colored phantoms.

The largest crystal features almost skeletal faces, with faces that are wavy or appear melted as a result of rapid crystal growth. Sharp terminations and edges throughout.

The back side has some smaller, black hydrocarbon crystals attached. There is a small bit of glitterty druzy matrix attached, and there's even a small white calcite crystal nestled in the druze a few small key marks, but this piece is largely complete.

Reconstructed at the key marks. Mined by hand in the summer of 2020. Locality: the herkimer diamond mines resort, middleville, herkimer co.
