Brazilian emerald tower

I love the rich dark green tones of this brazilian emerald tower. This is a different variation than the emerald beryl that is typically seen. This type of emerald is shale or slags that did not obtain enough heat and pressure underground to obtain gemmy properties, hence the opaque green you see, along with other mineral inclusions. I personally like this variation of emerald. Due to the nature of the stone it has minor texture and pitting.
