Czech Moldavite 3.31 grams Natural Raw Jewelry Grade for Pendant

Deeply sculpted surface texture combined with a slightly wavy, elongated shape could make for a very unique pendant wire-wrapping project. Shape: slightly wavy freeform, pendant. Clarity: included (schlieren & bubbles) no exterior chip or flaws noted. Dimensions: 4.1 cm (length) 1.2 cm (wide at widest area) x 1.6 mm (overall thickness). All natural moldavite shows what is known as a "schlieren" pattern. It is a natural wavy pattern within that shows up really well when properly polished.

It cannot be imitated or man-made and is an indication of this being a natural moldavite. There is a lot of fake moldavite out there (especially e-bay)- the best way to know that you're getting a natural stone is to see if the stone shows schlieren. I take close-up photos to highlight this natural phenomenon.

Bubbles are another common inclusion in moldavites. They can be almost microscope and (extremely rarely) they can get to sizes of 1cm. Sometimes, you will see stretched/elongated bubbles. These formed when the moldavite (still in its molten form) flew through the air and the round bubbles within stretched out when the glass itself did.

I try to take photographs as close to reality as possible. My photos are never "photoshopped" to make the stone appear over-saturated. Lighting is either natural sunlight or studio lighting with sunlight imitating bulbs.
