Petrified Wood Sphere

This beauty is filled with rich browns, tans, pink, and mahogany tones. This fossil is sure to take your breath away if you look at the pictures it looks like a face with a feather headress on top. (just something i noticed and thought to share) love this piece.

Petrified wood, which is also known as fossilized wood or agatized wood, forms when a tree has died and silicon dioxide forms in place of the wood that degrades until there is no wood left, only quartz.
